History
AgriBulk is incorporated on April 14, 1998, as an integrated agriculture products company. The Company holds interest in Thermopower, a bulk commodity company operating worldwide. The Company's segments include Upstream, Downstream, Thermopower, and Other businesses and corporate. The Upstream segment is engaged in supply and production of wheat, as well as midstream transportation, storage and processing. The Downstream segment has global manufacturing and marketing operations. The Thermopower segment has a resource base of commodities onshore and offshore.
Upstream
The Upstream segment is engaged in marketing and trading of wheat, The principal areas of production are Russia and Ukraine. Thanks to the long lasting relations with the Russian and Ukrainian authorities and the producers, The Company's upstream activities is the core element in its structure.
As of December 31, 2015, the Company has long term contracts with Russian and Ukrainian suppliers which totals up to 2,200,000 MT of wheat annualy. The Company mainly makes its shipment from the Novorrossiysk Port of Russia in Black Sea. The Company sales will reach 380 mio USD by the end of 2016.
Downstream
The Downstream segment is engaged in marketing, transportation, and trading of wheat and other agricultural products to wholesale customers. The Downstream segment includes three businesses:
1) Wheat and Wheat Bran
2) Wheat Flour
3) Barley, Oat and Corn
4) Other cereals
Thermopower
Thermopower has assets in various commodity plants of Russia operating in agricultural products, coal, aliminium and copper. As of December 31, 2015 Thermopower has global sales more than 2 billion USD. Its Downstream operations also include jet fuel, bunkering, bitumen and lubricants.
The Other Businesses and Corporate
The Other businesses and corporate segment comprises the other commodities, shipping and treasury functions, and corporate activities around the world. It has operations in Europe, North and South America, Australasia, Asia and Africa.
