Management
The Chief Executive Officer has final authority in all matters of management that are not within the duties and authorities of the Board. The Executive Committee supports the Chief Executive Officer and implements all Board resolutions and supervises all management levels in AgriBulk.
Chief Executive Officer
Ben Willliams
Ben Williams became Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with effect from January 1, 2014.
Ben joined in 2008, after graduating with a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from NYU.
Ben’s career in Agibulk spans both Upstream and Downstream activities. He has held a number of operational and commercial roles, including some 15 years in the agri business, and a variety of positions in Downstream.
In December 2006, he was appointed Executive Vice President, Eastern Chemicals, based in London, UK.
During his tenure in the role, Ben was appointed to the boards of a number of leading industry associations including the National Council of Agricultural Associations.
Personal
Ben is married to Stacey and has three daughters and a son. He enjoys reading, running and travelling with his family.
Downstream Director
John Chatham
John was appointed Downstream Director and a member of the Executive Committee of AgriBulk on October 1, 2013. He joined Agribulk in 2004 after graduating from John Hopkins University with a first-class honours degree in Genetics.
John has since worked in the UK, Singapore, Thailand, the Netherlands, Canada, and the USA, predominantly in the areas of Global Manufacturing and Supply, Trading and Distribution.
John is a Fellow of the Institution of Genetics, as well as a chartered scientist.
Personal
A British national, John is married with two adult children and enjoys cycling, astronomy and photography.
Upstream Director
Richard Brown
Richard was appointed to the Executive Committee of AgriBulk in April 2012. He is responsible for AgiBulk’s global Upstream business, which includes expanding the network of suppliers.
Richard joined AgriBulk in 2007. After completing his degree in Business Administration at Cambridge University, between 2000 and 2007, he worked in New Zealand, the Netherlands and Italy in large scale agricultural projects.
Chief Finance Officer
Jessica Whiteman
Jessica became AgriBulk’s Chief Financial Officer and an Executive Director in March 2017.
Jessica joined AgriBulk in 2004 and has held Finance leadership roles in AgriBulk’s Upstream and Downstream businesses, as well as in Projects & Technology and Corporate headquarters.
Jessica gradutaed from Duke University with an outstanding degree in Finance.
Personal
Jessica is married to Michael and they have three children. In her free time, apart from spending quality time with family and friends, Jessica enjoys going for extended walks, reading and some small scale farming at their home.
